ABOUT GARFORTH, LEEDS
The pool is located within the You Fit Health Club & Gym. We have split access of the pool; therefore we only have on group lesson running at a time led by our excellent teacher, Danielle.
The pool space we have use of is half of the 10m x 8m hexagon pool in our own private lane.
There is a no spectating policy at this venue, excluding for 1:1 lessons or families with a dispensation with a dispensation. Parents/Carers can wait in their cars or at the Holiday Inn, Café.

Where are we? GARFORTH -> The full address of the pool is You Fit Health Club, Holiday Inn, Wakefield Road, Garforth, LS25 1LH. Parking is available on site free of charge. A Google link to the address is found here:
• When you park at the Holiday Inn, Garforth car park - please make your way to the You Fit Leisure Club - this is located on the hotel site and has a separate entrance on the left of the hotel entrance.
• Please arrive at the reception of the pool 5 minutes prior to your lesson.
• There is a disabled toilet as well as two changing rooms (M & F) - please comply with the centres rules regarding changing facilities.
• If you can, make sure your swimmer can arrive beach ready (costume underneath) so they can take off their overclothes and then sit on the side of the door and wait for their lesson to begin.
• Once the last class has finished, parents can walk round to the spectating side of the pool, children will be dismissed from there.
• Handover between lessons needs to be quick.
• Hats are not compulsory at the moment; if you wish to bring one that is fine.
• GOGGLES are welcomed for permitted for swimmers entering and past Stage 2. Goggle authorisation is at the teachers discretion from a teacher who is confident that a swimmer can submerge their face.
• Danielle will have a quick conservation and introduce herself to swimmers before we talk about sliding in safely. The work will begin straight after. Please note; a lesson specifically aims to be 28 minutes long to accommodate an additional 2 minutes for registration, safe entrance and safe exit.
• Upon completion, you can towel off in the changing rooms.
• Based on You Fit rules, there is no spectating at Garforth - I request your phone with the number given to me is kept on if myself or the teacher need to contact you! 20 minutes of peace is a gift - you can still enjoy the warm up activity, check back in half way through and then watch the ending of the lesson. Therefore, you can wait in your car if you wish - unless your child has got additional requirements where I’ve requested specifically requested you remain poolside for the full lesson.
